By appointing Condoleeza Rice, Alberto Gonzales, Mel Martinez, and Colin Powell to his cabinet President-elect Bush took steps towards "Acknowleding the support of all of my black and Latino voters." In a press conference he explained that every single one of his Black and Latino voters would be rewarded with a seat in his cabinet.

Bush, who's approved the execution of scores of Blacks and Latinos, fought against affirmative action, and worked to further militarize the U.S./Mexico border was apparently taken aback when informed of the true nature of his Cabinet appointments. "I thought my Cabinet stayed in my kitchen..." he mumbled.
